PETS LOOKING FOR FOSTER HOMES
(FFLAH=Friends for Life Animal Haven pets)
Copper (FFLAH)

Copper is a 10 year old lab/chow mix. He was hit by a car when he was nine months old and suffered nerve damage. He has had a limp ever since. He needs a foster home where not a lot of physical activity will be expected of him. He is very sweet, good with other dogs, cats, and kids. He is on three kinds of pain medication which will be provided for him. Can you give Copper space in your home where he will be pampered?

Max (FFLAH)

Hi, my name is Max. I'm an older fellow (born in 2000) looking for a foster home. I weigh 61 pounds, am very loving, loyal and friendly to other dogs, cats and humans! Did I mention I love treats? My first owner died and I like my current foster home, but I'd rather have a home of my own. Can you foster me?
If you can make room in your home for me, please contact Mary Lou at 834-8722. Thanks!
Grizzly (FFLAH)

Grizzly is a 9 year old (DOB 7/7/02) Rotweiler mix who was adopted from FFLAH six years ago. He was returned after the couple had children and didn't have the time for him any more. He weighs 91 pounds, is neutered, current on vaccines, gets along great with people, kids and other dogs. He can't be trusted to be alone with cats because if they run, he thinks they are prey. He is very loving and looking for a forever or foster home where he can be loved again!

Meet Annie (AKA Little Orphan Annie)
Annie's story as told by her foster parents:
Annie was an emaciated Calico stray cat that came through our neighbor's yard about a month ago. We found her to be friendly to everyone. We took her to the vet where she was spayed, given all shots, leukemia tested negative, dewormed and deflead. Annie has gained weight and is estimated to be about 1 year old. She was also treated for an abcessed front leg from some kind of animal bite. She has healed nicely from the abcess. The vet has done a follow-up exam and given her a clean bill of health and Annie is at a normal weight now. The vet also saw her charming personality and said she would be adopted quickly. She is one of the more engaging cats we have ever encountered. (We have two former strays ourselves and have fostered many others including Annie). She is outgoing, loving, has a snese of humor and seems completely untraumatized by what she has been through. She is full of energy, loves to play, loves to sit on your lap and purrs a lot. She would do well in a house that can match her energy level and would keep her indoors. She has also shown no interest in going outside. She is litter box trained and seems to be able to amuse herself for hours with toys and people.
Pictures of Annie are available for viewing at the animal hospital.
